Director of Happiness Operations

Job Title:  Director of Operations - Director of Happiness Operations. This fully remote position with some traveling to be expected will report directly to Israel Moreira, Doughp co-CEO.
What for?:
We are looking for an experienced strategic leader, passionate about brand and culture, to own all-things Doughp supply chain, distribution and logistics. This position will be responsible for developing, bringing to life, managing, and continually optimizing a multi-channel production and distribution strategy. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent direct-to-consumer and retail distribution and logistics strategy that drives revenue profitably on all ecommerce and retail platforms. It will be in your hands to manage the Doughp production, distribution, inventory, and quality assurance & control from start to finish.
What You'll Be Doughing:
  • Owning a pretty Doughp production process from start to finish including demand forecasting, raw material sourcing & negotiation, manufacturing agreements & management, quality assurance, and quality control
  • Owning distribution from start to finish including distribution contracts and inventory management, not only for the direct to consumer channel, but also for the retail channel (a.k.a. Multichannel distribution)
  • Owning quality assurance and control processes ensuring we continue to sell a kick-ass product with consistently excellent quality
  • Owning and maintaining Doughp’s tech stack for distribution and logistics including WMS and IMS
  • Building a team to support our hyper expansion!

  • You’ll get to work side-by-side with Doughp’s co-CEO, finance & ops magician, project manager, and former civil engineer, Iz Moreira.
  • You’ll have the chance to own how the Doughp brand comes to life (literally, comes to life as cookie dough) across eCommerce & Retail distribution as we tackle world cookie dough domination!
We reaaaaaally want you to have:
  • A love of cookie dough
  • 2+ years of experience in Inventory Management Systems (IMS) 
  • 2+ years of experience in demand forecasting
  • 3+ years of experience in managing teams and/or vendors
  • 2+ years of experience working in a D2C and/or Retail business
  • MBA or BA in Business or similar relevant field and relevant work experience
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proven experience in:
    • Multi-channel logistics (direct to consumer AND retail)
    • Quality assurance and control in the food CPG industry
    • Management of bi-coastal or more complex distribution solution
  • Up-to-date with the latest trends and best manufacturing practices (GMP)
  • Knowledge of certifications of the industry (HACCP, FDA, GMP, SQF, knowledge are a must)
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic and highly changing environment
  • A go-getter mentality and self-motivated
  • The ability to work collaboratively in a team with strong communication and management skills
  • Strong organizational skills

eCommerce Champion (eCommerce Manager):

Job Title:  eCommerce Champion (eCommerce Manager). This fully remote position will report directly to Kelsey Moreira, Doughp Founder & co-CEO.
What for?: We are looking for a strategic, skilled eCommerce manager to own the online experience for Doughp customers. This position will focus on Doughp’s owned Shopify eCommerce store, but extends to anywhere Doughp is sold online (i.e. Amazon, Walmart, etc.).  You will lead the efforts to continually optimize our eCommerce platforms for conversion rate optimization, customer retention, and new feature development.
What You'll Be Doughing:
  • Own all aspects of a strategic eCommerce plan that combines knowledge  in sales, marketing, technology and management to deliver a superior brand and shopping experience for all customers
  • Manage the overall UX on the site, including navigation, content development, checkout funnel and marketing campaigns / landing pages - working with our developer to execute the site development under your strategic guidance
  • Develop strategies and tactics to enhance Doughp’s eCommerce performance across all channels including conversion rate optimization, average order value, and customer retention optimization
  • Manage all apps and integrations on the Doughp site and manage our relationships/platform fee negotiations with those software vendors
  • Work to improve retention & the customer experience with the loyalty/rewards program implementation
  • Own and manage marketing campaign implementations when landing pages are needed, social media integration, and supporting the paid advertising efforts with landing page creation
  • Prepare and monitor the eCommerce operating expenses budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely
  • Measure and report on the performance of new installations, apps, and content boosts to gain insight and assess against goals
  • Collaborate with Doughp Leadership to ensure all eCommerce platforms are on target with the brand goals. 
  • Report to the Leadership with data-driven performance reports, app and integration results, and your expert insight on enhancing Doughp eCommerce platforms
  • Work to boost organic traffic by owning SEO
  • Continually evaluate and propose new eCommerce opportunities for the brand outside of the current offerings

We reaaaaaally want you to have:

  • 3+ years of experience executing and designing e-commerce strategies across multiple platforms for a D2C business
  • 1+ year of management experience
  • Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field
  • High level of skill in accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with others (team player!) and work cross-functionally
  • Ability to prioritize in a dynamic and highly changing environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

Marketing Magician (Director of Marketing):

Job Title:  Marketing Magician (Director of Marketing). This fully remote position will report directly to Kelsey Moreira, Doughp Founder & co-CEO.
What for?: We are looking for an experienced strategic leader, passionate about brand and culture, to own all-things Doughp marketing & communications. This position will be responsible for developing, bringing to life, managing, and continually optimizing an omni-channel marketing strategy. Ultimately, you will help us build and maintain a strong and consistent brand experience that drives sales profitably on all eCommerce and retail marketing platforms. It will be in your hands to ensure that every person who interacts with the Doughp brand walks away knowing we make ridiculously tasty cookie dough and that we are here to make the world a better place. This position will reward an out-of-the-box thinker… someone who doesn’t even know what a box is because they’ve got such a creative marketing brain!
What You'll Be Doughing:
  • Create and manage the Doughp marketing calendar/campaigns, marketing materials, and brand partnerships across ecommerce and retail channels
  • Ensure our brand message is strong and consistent across all channels and marketing efforts
  • Develop strategies and tactics to enhance Doughp’s marketing performance across all channels
  • Manage vendors across all growth & retention marketing channels; which may include agencies managing: paid advertisement on social media/SEM, organic social media, content creation, influencer marketing, affiliate marketing of both ambassadors and content affiliates
  • Enhance retention marketing efforts by improving the Doughp loyalty and subscription programs
  • Direct content marketing direction including photography/video and blogs
  • Plan & deploy successful marketing campaigns and own their implementation from ideation to execution
  • Drive customer feedback efforts to gain consumer insights for new product efforts, measuring effectiveness of marketing campaigns, etc.
  • Prepare and monitor the marketing budget on a quarterly and annual basis and allocate funds wisely with the Doughp leadership team
  • Measure and report on the performance of marketing channels & campaigns measuring against goals & pivoting when needed; report with data-driven performance reports, campaign results, and your expert insight on the results of the marketing channels
  • As Doughp continues to grow, you’ll be responsible for building & directing a team of marketing professionals to execute on the shared vision
