RED VELVET VIXEN COOKIES WITH CREAM CHEESE FROSTING

Ingredients

  • 1 pouch of Doughp's Red Velvet Vixen Cookie Dough

  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened

  • 1 stick butter, softened

  • 2 cups powdered sugar

  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

  • Valentine’s sprinkles - optional


Directions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees fahrenheit and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Place the Red Velvet Vixen Doughp drops onto the baking sheet. Bake for about 7-8 minutes. Let cool completely.

  2. To make the frosting, combine the cream cheese and butter into a large mixing bowl. Mix on medium high speed with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. 

  3. Add the powdered sugar and vanilla and beat again until smooth. 

  4. To assemble the cookie sandwiches, place the desired amount of frosting onto the bottom of one cookie, and press another cookie on top gently. Sprinkle the frosting with festive sprinkles if desired.
