RED VELVET VIXEN CUPCAKES WITH COOKIE DOUGH FROSTING

1 box chocolate cake mix

Red food coloring - optional

12 chocolate truffles

White chocolate chips, chopped - optional for garnish
Frosting

1 pouch of Doughp's Red Velvet Vixen Cookie Dough

1 stick butter, softened

2 cups powdered sugar
Directions

Preheat the oven according to cake mix directions. Make the cake according to package directions. Add red food coloring into the mix if desired.

Pour the batter into a lined cupcake pan. Place a chocolate truffle into the center of each cupcake. Bake according to package directions. Let cool completely.

Meanwhile, make the frosting by combining the cookie dough and butter into a large bowl. Beat on high with an electric mixer until light and fluffy. Add the powdered sugar and beat again until combined.

Spread or pipe the frosting onto the cupcakes. Garnish with white chocolate chips if desired.
