Can you feel it coming? We’re a week away from the scariest night of the year — at least, if you have an aversion to sweet treats and costumes.
And, sure, you’ve probably got big plans to score some trick-or-treat candy. But by the sixth fun-sized chocolate bar, you might be ready to change it up.
We’ve got you. Over the years, we’ve developed some devilishly good Halloween recipes. And to help you celebrate, we’ve got them on deck here today.
PLUS! We just released our Spooky Szn 3-pack to help you get in the spirit. It includes the Cookie Monsta you’ll need for this first recipe.
Add a spoonful of Cookie Monster Doughp onto one half of the split oreo. The more you add, the fatter the spider will be (and the more cookie dough goodness you’ll get to enjoy).
Place the other half of the OREO on top of the Doughp and gently press the two halves together. Use your (clean!) fingers to even out on the sides.
To make the spiders, press eight pretzel stick halves into the Doughp for the legs with the broken side in.
Add a small amount of frosting to the back of the googly eyes and place them on top of the cookies.
Serve immediately or store in the fridge until your Halloween party.
Halloween Cookie Dough Bark
Ingredients:
4 cups white chocolate chips
½ cup halloween sprinkles of choice (we used orange, black, and pumpkins)
Melt the white chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 20-second intervals, stirring between.
Spread two cups of the melted white chocolate onto a sheet pan lined with parchment paper. Sprinkle ¼ cup of the sprinkles on top. Place in the fridge for 30 minutes to set.
Pull the white chocolate out of the fridge and lightly press the Ride or Die Doughp into the hardened chocolate to flatten it.
Pour the remaining white chocolate on top of cookie dough (it’s okay if it doesn’t fully cover all of the Doughp), then sprinkle with the remaining Halloween sprinkles, followed by the candy corn.
Place in the fridge for another 30 minutes to set.
Cut or break the bark into bite-sized pieces. Keep it in the fridge when you’re not devouring it.
Halloween toppings, like ghost cupcake toppers, fake spiders, candy pumpkins, and gummy worms
Directions
Assemble the dirt cups by adding the desired amount of chocolate pudding to your serving glass or cup.
Layer a generous amount of Ride or Die Doughp on top, followed by a heap of crushed oreos.
Arrange your toppings to your liking.
Let chill in the fridge for 30 minutes before serving.
